This recipe can be made in bulk and refrigerated, so that one can eat it whenever hungry. Other ways of consuming negative calorie foods would be in the form of salads, fruits, or vegetables. It is known that eating a salad before any meal will considerably reduce your appetite, thereby, reducing the quantity of food you eat.
Negative Calorie Diet
As aforementioned, negative calorie foods are those that require more calories to be burnt, than those they provide. This does not mean that these foods do not have calories. This also does not mean that you can eat only negative calorie foods to lose weight. For instance, a medium-sized apple contains 80 calories, while it takes around 100 calories to digest it. As a result, the body uses a surplus of 20 calories, already available to the digestive system, to burn the calories contained in an apple, thereby aiding weight loss.
The best part about the negative calorie diet is that it recommends the consumption of fiber-rich foods. These foods are also rich in minerals and vitamins. However, there are no proven results of the efficacy of this diet. Also, it appears to be more speculative than functional. Some health professionals claim that feasting on negative calorie foods isn't the answer to quick, easy, or healthy weight loss. On the other hand, it has been found that consuming these, tends to increase the metabolic rate, thereby helping in losing weight.
One may therefore conclude that, the key here, lies in moderation. Consuming a moderate amount of negative calorie foods, as a part of the regular diet, with a good amount of daily exercise will considerably help in losing weight.
